I have always been passionate about food and community. I studied culinary management to broaden my skills and knowledge in all things cuisine and hospitality and I relish an opportunity to create in the kitchen. I love to develop recipes with wholefoods that are approachable, authentic and packed with flavour. Bringing people together around the table is important to me and I believe food is the greatest and most accessible tool for generosity and hospitality.
There’s no doubt about it, if a guacamole is going to be any good, it HAS to be home made. Make your own in a matter of a couple of minutes in your Vibe Blender and you’ll never go back to store bought again. This is a very basic recipe for an easy, smooth guacamole. The beauty of making your own is that you can add whatever you like! Try adding a bit of fresh green chilli for extra spice or mixing through some fresh diced tomato just before serving.
Serves 6-8
3 ripe avocados, deseeded and flesh removed
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 bunch of fresh coriander leaves (or large handful)
1 tablespoon toasted cumin seeds
1. Place everything except the cumin seeds into the blender jug.
2. Blend on smoothie mode and medium speed until smooth.
3. Pour out into a serving dish and sprinkle with cumin seeds.
